Project Guide
Economics: Students must conduct research as to how the corona virus impact the economy in various
areas. The economy had either positive or negative effect which causes the business cycle to have an
upswing or a downswing. Students are also to predict the consequences following the pandemic.
Using the Economic Theory that you have studied thus far, conduct an economic analysis of the article,
illustrated with diagrams where applicable, to explain what has been happening. Pay particular attention
to one or more of the following:
- positive & negative effects on the market structure.
- positive & negative effects on the business sectors.
- positive & negative effects on the employment.
- How did the fiscal policy support the economy during covid.
- How did the monetary policy support the economy during covid.
-Recommend aspects that the government in the UAE can focus on in the future to prepare the
workforce for pandemics. Use examples to illustrate your answers/ Conclusion
