NARRATIVE REPORT ON CONDUCT OF BRIGADA ESKUWELA 2021

PANGGULAYAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The Brigada Eskuwela is a yearly event held to promote cooperation or the spirit of ‘’bayanihan”
among school stakeholders. This year’s Brigada Eskuwela had a theme of ‘’Bayanihan para sa Paaralan”
to emphasize the countrys’ collective efforts in promoting collaboration for safe living and addressing
social issues and concerns in schools, at homes and in the community. It was implemented from
August 3 to September 30, 2021.

In Panggulayan Elementary School, we had our share of the bayanihan with our stakeholders
doing their part on the cleaning of the school surroundings.

On day 1, the parents did the weeding of the flower boxes in front of the classrooms together
with the teachers. On day 2, we had the cleaning of the plant boxes of the mango trees situated in front
of the classrooms. Day 3 was when had the parents clean the backyard of the classrooms. Day 4 was
when we had the weeding of the pathwalks by the parents. Day 5 marked the cleaning of the school
backyard and other surrounding areas. On day 6, we continued the cleaning of the flower boxes in front
of the classrooms.

On August 31, 2021, to had our parents help in removing the grasses in the plant boxes of the
mango trees. On September 3, 2021, our parents continued on the cleaning of our plant boxes. On
September 7, 2021, we had our Bayanihan by the Teachers of PES where all teachers participated in the
cleaning of the classrooms and school surroundings. On September 14, we had some parents transport
sand to the front of the school by the main gate to make the soil higher and prevent flooding during the
rainy season. On September 26, 2021, we had the Alpha-Kappa RHO Community Service who helped by
chopping some branches off of the mango tress and fix the roof of some of the kubo waiting areas.
