- Green Island 2. Why did you select this one? - I select this one because it has many skilled labors and less capital. 3. What would you have done differently? - First, I customized my character into male. I choose Yellow Island as trade partner because of one laborer and more capital to gain. There are 3 rounds of production and trading. In the first round, I got the increase in the production of cellphone and decrease in the jeans. The result is good because welfare has been increased. In the second round, I tried to maximize the production of jeans and minimize the cell phones. However, the reaction of community has enriched into unfair trading and decreasing of welfare. In the last round, I tried to make new things because just like in the first round, but I measured the number of cellphones and jeans doing to trade but it results to fair trade and everybody was happy. 4. What did this teach you about comparative and competitive advantage? - This game teaches me how to manage business within an island individually. Comparative advantage is a principle that skilled laborers can produce many commodities within a period of time. In the other hand, competitive advantages wherein business competitors are became rivals and produce goods or services has a better price of quantity, generate sales, and superior margins. 5.
