This monument is created by sculpture by Richard Kissling in Switzerland.

3. Why was it erected in that place?

It is erected and displayed unto that place because it is reserved as a tribute to

the commemoration of Filipino Nationalist, Dr. Jose Rizal who was accused unto death by a
single shot in Bagumbayan due to political conspiracy and sedition. He accepted, sacrificed, and
offered his life for his country.
 4. Is it for pure sentimental value? Or does it send a message to those
who witness it?
Rizal Monument reminds to our Filipino on how it is evoked about the
days of Jose Rizal, his heroic and genuine commitment to our country.
