EXAMPLES OF RESTAURANTS’ WEAKNESSES

IN MAKING SWOT ANALYSIS

• Scarcity of tables and chairs — Some customers decide to leave the restaurant
whenever the dining room is full of dine-in customers. One of the reasons why other
customers choose to find and eat in different restaurants is the scarcity of tables and chairs.
If the restaurant will put enough tables and chairs in a spacious area, they will not lose some
customers.

• The menu is quite expensive — most of the customers save money and think first
about how much they will spend on what they will eat, especially during the pandemic. If the
price of the menus is high-priced, they will choose to look for cheaper food. It would be nice
to lower the price because charging low prices encourage customers to buy and eat by
offering them affordable prices of menus.

• Lack of space for hanging out — if there is a space inside the restaurant where
customers can hang out for a while after dining, there is a chance for customers to have fun
and come back to the restaurant.

• Low focus on the menu — they can lose customers if they only think about the number
of customers who will eat at their restaurant. And disregard the menu that will serve if it still
tastes good, is clean, and if the customers will like it.

• No Wi-Fi inside the restaurant — Lots of young customers are looking for dining with
free Wi-Fi. The number of customers may increase if there is free Wi-Fi inside the
restaurant.
