Introduce yourself speech:

Hi there! I’m Lean Dominic Borlaza, people just call me Lean. I’m 18
years old and I live in a tiny town named Liliw in Laguna. Our place
is called the Tsinelas Capital of the Philippines, and I always
thought it’s awesome.
I am currently studying at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo,
taking up Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with English
as my chosen major. I entered this course because it is what my
family wants and later on, I also thought that maybe being an
English teacher is great for me. I could have so many opportunities
in and out of the country, and since traveling around the world is
one of my ultimate goals, being a good English speaker would be a
great help with communication. And part of the reason for that, is I
love reading books and since I was a child, I’d always loved learning
unfamiliar words while reading.

My first priority has always been education. My parents always

emphasized the significance of acquiring an education, despite the
fact that they themselves had missed out on the opportunity. As a
child, my parents instilled in me the belief that education is
essential to achieving success in life. That was, without a doubt, the
most crucial lesson I learned on my way to college. I doubt I would
have gotten this far if I hadn't taken my studies seriously. As I often
say, the best way to spread knowledge is to learn knowledge. I
believe that everyone, rich or poor, is entitled to an education.  I
want to educate children about the value of education so that they
can achieve success as well. Every child deserves the finest
education possible, and I should strive to be the best educator I can
be in order to deliver it. It can be difficult to keep going when
juggling academics, housework, and social obligations. But, with
the education of children's future in my hands, I always manage to
get back on track. My desire to succeed pushes me to study. Not my
success, but the success of my future students. For them, I push
myself through difficult times.
