It is with a great deal of pleasure that I am wri:ng a le;er of recommenda:on for Janan Jawhar for a
teaching posi:on and the CSUF’s Masters’ program. I was her supervisor for her 178 ini:al student
teaching experience in Clovis. She was placed in Ms. Fagundes’ classroom at Maple Creek Elementary.
During the semester I visited her classroom via Zoom and video on at least a weekly basis and observed
her teaching on numerous occasions in several content areas.

From the very beginning, Janan wrote thorough direct lesson plans :ed directly to California Standards
and Common Core. She took :me to get to know the students in her class both academically and
personally and used this informa:on to plan lessons to effec:vely meet their needs.

Children worked in groups and pairs allowing them to share and analyze content being presented. During
her lessons Janan kept students engaged because of her exper:se in presen:ng content using a variety
of pedagogical strategies to meet the needs of all students in her class.

AQer each lesson, she did a thorough review of mastery data and u:lized this informa:on to plan future
lessons.

All competency work completed by Ms. Jawhar was thorough demonstra:ng a great deal of maturity and
willingness to improve and learn daily.

Ms. Jawhar would be an asset in any educa:onal seRng. Her integrity, enthusiasm thoroughness, and
hardworking aRtude would make her an outstanding par:cipant and team player.
