Some people say that modern innovation bring a lot more problems than benefits.

Do you agree or disagree?

Technology is developing at a fast pace but few people believe that these innovations brought
more drawbacks than its benefits. In my opinion, I disagree with the statement as modern
technology has great impact both on the individuals and society in terms of advancement.
A prime effect this technology has brought in the communication sector. Nowadays, people
can communicate with others while sitting far away from them through emails, messengers
and video conferencing. This expansion in communication sector has also proliferated in
business operations. One can expand his business in other nations while sitting at home
country. For instance, various food chain ventures like McDonald, burger king and kfc
paradigmatic example for wide spread of the business. Therefore, innovation in telecom
sector has given an economic advantage to the nation.
Another point to consider is that it eases in daily household activities. Mechanical
advancement like washing machine, electronic vacuum cleaner and other kitchen gadgets has
fastened the process of work which usually take longer time earlier. This give abundance of
free time which women can utilise in other profit generating activities to give financial
support to their family. Thus, modern gadgets act as helping hand to individuals by mitigating
house chores.
Finally, technology upgradation in automotive sector also help human and society.
Manufacturing of various transport vehicles like cars, trucks and ambulances has mitigated
the distance for traveling, as one can now travel miles of distance in few hours. In other
words, in case of health emergency, if anyone wants to see doctor who is in other city, one
can use ambulance or personal cars which was not possible in past. Hence, modern
innovation has decreased the risk of human life.
To conclude, I disagree that technology has any adverse effect on society or individual, as it
has decreased the communication barriers and workloads.
