Today, I'm going to present one of the most important novels, I've ever read, it is a timeless novel
that shows the social dispute and the endless struggle between good and evil. The novel takes
place in England in the 1830s, the book is a novel of social protest it was first published in 1837.
It's about Oliver who is an orphan born in a workhouse, and Dickens uses his situation to criticize
policy towards the poor in the 1830s in England. What is important to know about the characters
is the following: Oliver is a pious, innocent child. Fagin is a wicked man. Nancy despite her criminal
lifestyle is among the noblest characters in the novel, the novel talks about Oliver, who was born
as an orphan in a workhouse. Between nine and twelve years old the main action of the novel
occurs, though treated with cruelty for most of his life, he is a pious and innocent child. Mr.
Brownlow, a gentleman who owns a portrait of Agnes, Oliver's mother, tries to help Oliver and
protect him from the wicked monks, Oliver's half-brother, who is another important character of
the novel. the main theme is the age-old battle between good and evil. the book is well written.
The opening chapters are so appealing that you want to keep on reading. The book is very
descriptive and informative.

Finally, it’s a good book worth reading I recommend it to both young and old people. If you
haven't read it, make sure you get a copy.
