To

save probabilities, SPSS commands are:



Analyze → Regression → Binary Logistic
Click ‘Save’
Check the box for ‘Probabilities’

This creates a new variable in your data view.

To plot the saved probabilities, SPSS commands are:

Graphs → Legacy Dialogs → Error Bar
Select ‘Clustered’
Leave ‘Data in Chart’ as ‘Summaries for groups of cases’
Click ‘Define’

In the new dialog box:

Variable = saved predicted probabilities
Category Axis = first variable of product term
Define Clusters By = second variable of product term

Interpretation of error bar graph:

• overlap of error bars: no significant difference
• no overlap of error bars: there is a significant difference
