Birthday party

10:20-10:40: (Individual classrooms) Students will practice singing happy birthday.


Teachers will prepare students to present and accept gifts. Students giving gifts
needs to practice “Happy Birthday” and students accepting gifts need to
practice “Thank you.” Students with birthdays will get pictures taken.

10:40-11:10: All together on fifth floor.

Present gifts and sing happy birthday.

 Ask students whose birthday it is.


 Ask students what do we do at a birthday party? (ex: sing happy
birthday, eat cake, blow out candles, make a wish, get presents…)
 Bring up individual birthday students & have them sit in chair. Their class
will line up and present them with gifts. Do this for each birthday
student. Ask the students what they hope to get for their birthday.
 Birthday students line up behind the table, and everyone sings Happy
birthday to them.

11:10-11:20: Break time

11:20-11:30: Wash hands, drink water and eat birthday snacks.

11:30-12:20 (All together) Games!

1. Musical Chairs
2. Teacher Says (like Simon says)
3. Hot balloon (like hot patato)

Students sit in a circle and pass a balloon around while the music
plays. When it stops, the person who has the balloon is out.
Continue until there is one person left.

4. If time, freeze dance.

12:20: Lunch
