This study aims to find out the community participation in the development
implementation at Botubilotahu Village, Marisa Subdistrict, Pohuwato District and
to investigate the participation determination factors in the development
implementation at Botubilotahu Village, Marisa Subdistrict, Pohuwato Subdistrict.
The method used in this study is the quantitative approach with descriptive analysis.
The population in this study consists of the village head, village secretary, village
officials, Village Consultative Agency, and community leaders at Botubilotahu
Village, Marisa Subdistrict, Pohuwato District. The sampling technique used is
dedicated sampling which is expected that the selected informants and respondents
represent the population. The data are analyzed qualitatively using a frequency table
in accord with the number of variables used as indicators in this study. The results of
the study indicate that the community participations are in the form of ideas or
thoughts, with the intensity of the respondent's response "often" namely 19 (54.28%),
community involvement in the form of energy, the respondent's response "often",
namely 19 (54.28%), participation in the form of finance or material, with the
intensity of the respondents' answers "rarely" which is 23 (65.71%), participation in
the form of evaluation of development results, the respondent's answer is "never",
namely 18 (51.42%). The factors that influence the participation in the development
implementation at Botubilotahu Village, Marisa Subdistrict are supporting factors,
namely awareness of community involvement, level of community education, guiding
factors for village government, and providing opportunities and opportunities for the
community, while the inhibiting factors are the available facilities or equipment and
the community's income.
