The easiest, single, and most important lifesaving action. Ask me if I washed my hands.
One day I visited the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) along with my wife and
newborn for a gastroenterologist appointment. While moving from room to room I saw written
signs “Ask me if I washed my hands”. I inquired one nurse about the signs and she told me the
hospital is encouraging parents and patients to ask the caregivers if they washed their hands.
