the elements. The macro environment, on the other hand, refers to the overall environment that can

evolve. It is made up of individuals, groups, organizations, agencies, and others with whom the company
conducts business.

your crucial success elements, and they are what give your company a competitive edge. Identifying

advantage.

3. what is the purpose of conducting a PEST analysis how does it benefit the business firm?

(answer nani dayun kay kapoy type)

1. The advertisement campaign because as what the article said “Bench” could be found in magazine
and billboards

2. By advertising the brand or the “BENCH” because it attracts more buyer and steadily strong in terms
of its sales

3. In catering more international audience there is new preferences and styles and it is an opportunity
for bench to known internationally to reduce the slowly adapting in changes of preference because of
course it is a large jurisdiction and mass production

4. Bench should plan and budget the cost and expenses of the business because it affects the income of
the business that usually limits budget especially if the cost of raw material increases

What’s In

Calamity / Disaster Your Feeling

1. Covid 19- Pandemic A feeling like you're trapped at times. Then, when
we leave the house, it's as if we're free for the
first time, like a bird released from its cage.
2. Earthquake It was feeling intense and shock because many
building are shaking and got damage
3. Flooding I was worried and sad because a lots of damages
like places or the environment and many people
died including children.
4. Landslide I was scared and worried because it can cause
property damages and of course can cause
trauma and also death.
5. Typhoon Yolanda When Yolanda hit, I was a high school student,
and the pain is still terrible on days like today. We
may never know why it happened, or why so
much and so many decent people were swept
away.

What’s New

We're in the midst of a global epidemic, with many locations completely or partially shut down and
others attempting to reopen in a safe manner. The most difficult issue for us and others to cope with is
the misinformation surrounding coronavirus. We are putting our health at risk in order to meet our basic
needs; some of us have lost our jobs, causing them to go hungry; many businesses have closed, resulting
in a higher unemployment rate; hospitals are at critical levels, with patients outnumbering medical
personnel, and more dead bodies among those who have survived. We have no idea how long it will
take or how bad things will get in the next days. As a result, it's all too easy to fall into a downward spiral
of worry and anxiety. Even in the face of such a major disaster, however, there are a variety of things we
can do to control our anxiety and fears. It's natural to be concerned about what will happen if our
workplace closes, our children are forced to stay home from school, I or someone close to us becomes
ill, or we are forced to self-quarantine. While thinking about these scenarios can be terrifying, being
proactive can help lessen some of the tension.

What’s More

Directions:

1. Because their entire family lives in Taal, Batangas, their principal source of income, fishing, has been
directly impacted by the eruption of Taal Volcano, resulting in a loss of family income. Another reason
was that it posed a threat to their family's safety. What I can encourage them to do is make the safety of
their family by their primary priority. They should proceed to the nearest evacuation facility and, if
necessary, address their concerns or request assistance from the appropriate government authority
closest to them. And I'm hoping and praying that their family will be protected until the problem is
resolved.

2. The storm may have negative consequences for Anna, such as the destruction of her home,
bereavement, and the loss of her employment, but she may overcome the disaster by praying and
remaining strong. It's probable that her house, along with her valuables, will be washed away, forcing
her and her family to flee their home. Grief, because she lost her children and has no idea if they
survived. And it's possible that she won't be able to return to her job as a schoolteacher right away
because the school's infrastructure has been seriously damaged. She can overcome these obstacles by
offering emotional and financial help. To provide her peace of mind, assistance in the search for her
child may be provided.

3. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a physical and psychological impact on healthcare professionals. Our
frontliners are feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or afraid during these difficult times. Workers in the
healthcare industry have been forced to operate under stressful situations without sufficient safety
equipment and make difficult decisions with ethical ramifications. We need to show them that we are
thankful because of them, the courage in their heart and we should also pray for their health.
