CONTAINER

Concept:

A container is a cargo container for sea or river transportation, land transportation, and multimodal
transportation.

TYPES OF CONTAINERS:

STANDARD CONTAINER
Standard or general purpose containers are the most common for all types of cargo in the transportation
industry.

HIGH CUBE

It is similar to the standard with the difference that its height is 9.6 feet, which characterizes them. The extra
height makes them ideal for light weight and high volume loads. These containers are made of steel or
aluminum.

DRY VAN O CONTENEDOR SECO

They are the most used category on the market, with a basic and metallic structure, hermeneutically closed,
without any type of cooling or ventilation.

REEFER O CONTENEDOR REFRIGERADO

Refrigerated containers have a conservation system to maintain a controlled environment or temperatures,

recommended for products or foods that require a low temperature.

OPEN TOP

What distinguishes these containers is their removable waterproofed canvas roof creating an opening in the
upper part, allowing the merchandise to stand out in the event that it is required (paying the supplements based
on the excess).

OPEN SIDE

This container is characterized by having a single lateral opening, which facilitates the transport of goods whose
length dimensions do not allow their loading or unloading through the container door.

FLAT RACK

They are used to transport certain atypical loads, normally heavy and oversized. They are characterized by
lacking a roof and side walls.
