Now moving towards last bank which is,

HDFC BANK –
HDFC Bank goals and strategies aims to build sound customer franchises across distinct
businesses so as to be a preferred provider of banking services for target retail and
wholesale customer segments.
Bank is committed to ensure the highest levels of ethical standards, professional integrity,
corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
Now talking abtout bcg matrix -
HDFC Bank stands at STAR position in BCG matrix as they have high market growth and high
market share as well. There is an immense growth potential for the banking industry
because of increasing disposable income of consumers.
In Insurance sector HDFC’s most of the products are in STAR position. They have high
market share and high market growth rate, thus indicating lot of opportunity for
investment.
Whereas HDFC mutual funds stands at CASH COW as they have high market share and low
market growth rate in mutual funds. Cash cow implies focusing on profitable products and
investment more on such products.
With this prospect HDFC is continuously moving in the right direction, however there are
several competitors. ALSO Changing economic and political factors results to ups and downs
in the bank sector. Hence HDFC needs to follow some differentiation strategy in order to
outshine with respect to the competitors like ICICI.

Now moving forward, I would like Gurpreet kalra to show us light towards
operational analysis of all the banks.
