CURRICULUM MAPPING

REVITALIZING AND REMEDITATING FOR THE

POST-COVID REHEARSAL AND CLASSROOM

CORE VALUES
All Curriculum Mapping starts with an
educator's Core Values as we move to
prepare for Post-Covid
Classrooms/Rehearsals teachers need
to also be thinking about what do you
need to Revitalize? What do you need
to Remediate?

WHAT DO YOU WANT THEM TO

KNOW AND BE ABLE TO DO
Always approaching your planning from the end
of the year, unit or lesson ask yourself what do
you want them to know and be able to do?
Making sure your Core Values are met.

CREATING THE ESSENTIAL

QUESTIONS
Create an open ended question that students
could answer at the end of the unit that allows
for all perspectives and responses to be shared.

DEVELOPING LEARNING
TARGETS
The next step is the process of moving your list
of what you want them to know and be able to
do into specific and concreate scaffolded order
of lessons. Be sure that all lessons meet your
Core Values and align with your Essential
Question.

DEMONSTRATION OF
UNDERSTANDING
Each unit of study must have an culmination
of learning or celebration of their learning.
This is decided first and then all formative
assessments are created with that goal in
mind.
