1. Simple Present Tense
Simple present tense to state facts, habits, and events that occur at the
present moment.
Formula :
+ ) S + V1 + O/C
-) S + Do/does + not + V1 + O/C
?) Do/does + S + V1 + O/C
Example :
+) Naura cooks noodles every day
-) Naura doesn’t cook noodles every day
?) is Naura cook noodles every day
Example Sentence :
+) He is a football player
-) He is not a football player
?) is he a football player

2. Present Continuous Tense

Present continuous tense is to talk about actions that are talking place now
or plans for the future.
Formula :
+) S + Be + V1 + ing + O/C
-) S + Be + Not + V1 + ing + O/C
?) Be + S + V1 + ing + O/C
Example Sentence :
+) Lala is playing with fireworks
-) Lala is not playing with fireworks
?) does lala play with fireworks
3. Present Perfect Tense
Present perfect tense is used to express an activity or situation that started
in the past and was completed at a certain point in time in the past or is
still continuing today.
Formula :
Subject + auxiliary verb + main verb
Example :
+) they just played ball
-) they didn’t play ball just now
?) is they just played ball
Example Sentence :
+) I just came home from work
-) I didn’t come home frome work just now
?) am I just came home from work

4. Present Perfect Continuous Tense

Present perfect continuous tense to express an action that has been
completed at some point in the past or an action that has started in the past
and continues until now.
Formula :
+) S + have/has + been + Ving
-) S + have/has + not + been + Ving
?) have/has+ S + been + Ving
Example :
+) he has to the hospital since morning
-) he hasn’t been to the hospital since this morning
?) has he ever been to the hospital
5. Simple past Tense
Simple past tense to show that an event occurred in the past..
Formula :
+) S + Be + Was/Were + O/C
-) S + Be + Was/Were + not + O/C
?) Be + Was/Were + S + O/C
Example :
+) we were at the library yesterday
-) we were not in the library yesterday
?) were we at he library yesterday
Example Sentence :
