Difference between Mission and Evangelism

The terms "mission" and "evangelism" describe Christianity's outward thrust. The gospel of

Jesus Christ will not be limited by its very essence. It is necessary to share it with others.

Evangelism and mission are closely linked; mission is a more general term that incorporates

evangelism. In the Christian and biblical perspective, mission is entirely God's. Evangelism is

the responsibility of humans as a whole. The direction of the mission and its settings are done

by God and the settings of evangelism are done completely by humans. That is, evangelism is

part of the mission of God. Then the declaration of this mission is called the great

commission. And we have to fulfill it by evangelism.
