Material

Boom - Aluminum tube 1x1 inch, preferable ¾ x ¾ inch, I used a length of 1.5
meters to have enough support and handling when operating.

Connectors - PL 259 UHF female for chassis or BNC.

Interior of the Gamma Match - Wire with foam or plastic coaxial lining RG6
for CATV.

It is advisable to make
the holes with a bench
drill so that the exit and
entrance is completely
perpendicular and thus
avoid deviations in the
order of the elements. A
neighbor collaborated
with me in his
workshop.

With some more time you can install it on a tripod to manipulate it in
another way, very helpful in downloading SSTV from the ISS.

I have used this type of cutter to make the cut in the best way, mainly
because this type of arrows is made with an aluminum that can not be cut
with any type of manual or electric saw.

In case of using only a portable radio this "band splitter" works very well, the
SWR is adjusted by opening little by little the space between the turns of the
coils.

This antenna has been built with some measures taken from the Arrow II and
modifying some details as part of my own experimentation.
