Colombia has five natural regions: The Caribbean, the Pacific, the Llanos, the Andes and
the Amazon. There are certain customs that are common to almost all Colombians:
1-In Colombia you don't drink coffee, you have a cup of black coffee.
2-Any reason is good to meet with family and friends, have some schnapps and dance
until dawn.
3-Each region specializes in preparing its own “arepa”. “Arepas” are made with corn.
4-The best weekend plan is to go to the farm.
5-There is a day in which thousands of candles are lit.
6- When you visit someone, you should bring a small present.
7-The “Vallenato” was born 200 years ago with the desire to tell stories and accompany
the field work.
