GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Students will be able to:
 Understand about how our environment gets polluted.
 Realize about biodegradable and non-biodegradable items and why
we must keep it separate bins.
 The steps that we need to take in order to reduce pollution and save
the environment.
 They will be able to understand the need of creating awareness to
save our environment and safeguard our environment by not
polluting it.

Values Inculcated:
Children will learn the value of keeping our environment clean and
green.

Concept Map:
The poem "Awareness about our environment" composed by Sylvia
Stults is in the form of free verse. In this poem she describes all the
things we have polluted as humans. It is quite devastating so here all the
things she says and asks because we have polluted all these things and
caused doom and even hurt animals.
