Plato and Theodore consider their imprisonment a glory for themselves, but such glory exceeds their dignity, and therefore they consider
themselves unworthy of this glory. Also, in order to achieve the common good of the Church, they desire release from imprisonment. They
consider themselves among the last people who are worthy of such glory.

8) What this means?: "Also against these people who proclaimed anathema against those, who support the Gospel, and not adopting neither
adultery, nor the marriage of adulterees or this adulterial synod. So that they, who support the Gospel, were condemned for the iconomy,
allegedly allowed by the "saints", according to the adulteurs, calling such lawless people as "saints"."
Supporters of the gospel were condemned, allegedly for the sake of economy. This economy was allegedly allowed by the "saints".
9) What this means?: "If this condemnation will not be done, then we are requested, finally, of your strong prayers, a strong union of love,
powerful answers to console us, with weak spirit, and we asking to strengthen us, the weak, in which, of course, you will not refuse us, holy,
beloved and always respected our fathers."
If such a condemnation of these people does not happen, then St. Plato and St. Fedor ask for the prayers of this Basil.
