COURSE OUTCOMES (COMPETENCY UNIT WORK ACTIVITIES)

The person who is competent in this Course Outcomes shall be able to assess, diagnose the problem, malfunction of the vehicles
wheels, and assign the required repair job. Upon completion of this competency unit, students will be able to:
 Inspect Tyres & Rims Condition
 Perform Vehicle Wheel Balancing
 Perform Alignment Process

COURSE DESCRIPTION (COMPETENCY UNIT DESCRIPTOR)

Vehicle wheels service is a scope of competency to ensure equal distribution of weight on each side of the tyre centre line and
restore the front-end geometry or wheel-alignment angularity.

The competency includes inspect tyres and rims condition, perform vehicle wheel balancing, perform alignment process in
accordance with manufacturer specification.

The outcome of this competency is to assess, diagnose the problem, malfunction of the vehicles wheels, and assign the required
repair job.
