VIGNETTE #1: A MOMENT

I experienced something I will never forget. Maybe I was 13 or 14 years old when it happened. We competed in a
dance competition of my group. So many people are watching us. My eyes are blurred. After we dance we go to a
store to buy food and drinks because we are all tired. As I was walking I ate until I felt like I was lost, because I’m
not familiar with the place we went to the dance contest. I found it even harder to find them because I was just a
child with blurred eyes and there were so many people crowding around so I had a hard time running. I ran fast and
there was a child in front of me who was walking and his slippers were broken, I didn’t accidentally push her, and
she suddenly cried and complained to her mother. Her mother spoke badly to me and the girl lied that I had damaged
her slippers even though it wasn’t true. I want to reason and defend myself so that I can explain properly and they
can hear my side, but her mother kept on speaking to me unkindly. I didn’t speak anymore and just let them speak to
me unkindly because her mother was pregnant. Even though I want to answer what her mother said to me, I prefer to
remain silent and respectful even though I know who did the right thing and said the wrong thing. I apologized and
humbled myself, they wanted me to pay for the damaged slippers even though I wasn’t the one who did it, and it’s
not my fault that her slippers was broken or damaged. After that my dance group came and I told everything and
what really happened but the pregnant woman was causing a scandal, so many people came to us, listened and
watched what happened, and to end the conversation, I just paid for the slippers so that there would be no trouble.
When I gave them money, they suddenly left and didn’t even apologize to me even though they were wrong.

VIGNETTE #2: DESCRIBE A PERSON

I admire someone, he is not very tall, we are happy when we are together, he is kind, caring and loving. He has a
sharp nose, black hair, brown skin color, brown eyes, and have a mole on the right side of his cheek and near to his
nose, he has a good posture of his body, he is good and sexy every time when he dances. He has been courting with
me for a long time. His voice is beautiful when singing. We have the same vibes and he is matured to think about
any things, he is also an understanding person. I tell him about my happy and sad experiences that bother to me, he
is also my safe place. He always wants a hug to make him feel better. When he knows what I’m doing is wrong, he
just looks at me and I immediately understand what he’s implying. His favorite is black color and oversize shirts. He
supports me in everything. He keeps me always happy. He is close to God and he is the best of all. He has a
dignified job to support his parents and make their family well. He has many friends who want him to be happy so
they support whatever we have. He is a hardworking person, he does all the extra work that he can. I’m thankful
because I’m part of his life.
