Brief: Project 3
Produce a carefully planned brief with a clear structure showing a time plan, and
recognition of deadlines.

The idea I will be exploring in project one is Short films and photography.
I am interested in this because I would like to stretch my, screen writing and
directing skills. I have decided to do a mixture of media as I would like to keep
practicing my photoshop abilities.

For this project I also have a live brief to work on. The brief includes creating an
advertisement for a rail company to raise awareness of USB (Unwanted sexual
behaviour.)

I will research interesting filming techniques and editing processes. This will
help me planning my work so I can make interesting cuts and shots.

I will develop my ideas with Microsoft PowerPoint. I will produce Mind maps for
outcome ideas and multiple mood boards of images/ films to use as inspiration.
The image references will be sourced from Pinterest. As part of my research, I
will look at lighting diagrams and source props and outfits for my short film.
I will analyse artists work and make sure mine is of the same standard.

The samples I will be producing will clips showing the different cuts and
experiments that I executed in each shoot. I will also produce contact sheets for
my photography.

I will manage my project by making a timetable which will organise when I will
be working on specific aspects of my project e.g., when I will start
filming/photoshoots, when I will edit etc. I will also make sure to evaluate my
work often.

The expected outcome will be multiple outcomes, at the minimum of one short
film and two photoshoots. The theme of the project will be tailored for each
outcome.
The outcomes should be to a professional standard. of an editorial magazine.

The expected costs may come from props and equipment outfits makeup
decorations I will make an estimation of how much each outcome may cost when
doing my research and planning.
