HIWALL SPLITS – SOME TIPS
✓Hi wall split should be installed at a height of min 7
feet(bottom) from FFL.

✓Hole in wall should be at least 10 degree inclined down to

ensure there is no water seeping in while raining.

✓No electrical point allowed below split indoor unit.

✓Any desk top, PC, laptop or reading lamp should not be

placed below or Fax machine should not be located on the
Table just below Indoor unit.

✓Never allow wall light or tube light to be installed below

Indoor unit.
HIWALL SPLITS – SOME TIPS
✓Do not fix the split Ac stabiliser below indoor.

✓Stabiliser should not be covered by the Room's window curtain

since this can result in fire if there is any spark in stabiliser connector.

✓The stabiliser terminal should be fitted with cover without fail.

✓Adequately thick wire to be used for power as well as Indoor outdoor Signal
wires.

✓When AC is switched Off, using remote, the Power supply also should be
Switched 'Off'.

✓Results in stabiliser getting heated, approx 40 watts per hour is 640 watts a
day and 19 units per month - 238 units a year @ Rs 6 per unit - Rs 1428 per
year per AC !!!!!

when buying an aircon
▪ Regular maintenance and annual servicing.
▪ Choose an inverter over a non-inverter aircon.
▪ Close external doors and windows so that cool
air does not escape.
▪ Clean filters every month.
▪ Room should be air tight.
▪ Use curtains / venetian blinds
