Through this letter, I would like to express my utmost interest in applying for a Teacher Aide
position in your esteemed school. I have recently completed my Certificate III in Educational
Support last November 12, 2021, at TAFE Far North Queensland. I believe that your school
would give me the best opportunity for me to apply my acquired skills and learnings and hone
them to their full extent so that I can contribute to the provision of quality educational service.

Before this, I have had my vocational placement at Whitfield State School for seven months and
was responsible for assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of
learning materials and associated activities. I have also earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary
education while I was still living in the Philippines. I have experience in teaching elementary
students for five months through my On-the-Job training which is a prerequisite to attain my
bachelor’s degree. As part of this experience, I have assisted the teacher in preparing learning
materials and in storing, making available, and clearing away teaching equipment and materials,
supervising education activities under the direction of the teacher, and worked with small groups
as well as individual students who have additional needs in the classroom.

I can work independently and as part of a team. I am willing to continually learn and develop my
skills to be able to do what is necessary to contribute to the provision of quality educational
service. Tutoring and assisting children in their learning and growth has always been a passion
for me and I will do the best I can to assist your teachers in ensuring that every class will be an
opportunity for the students to learn and grow holistically.
