DNA is part of every leaving organism.


James Watson and Francis crick scientist at Cambridge university are well knows for their research
into the structure of DNA.
They became famous for their research and for building a model of DNA molecule.
Many people think that Wilkins and Rosalind Franklin had already discovery of the structure of
DNA.
There is some evidence that Watson had examined Franklin's x-rays of DNA but in 1953 three can

By the time Watson, Crick and Wilkins won the Nobel prize of medicines without Rosalind because

understood scientists and doctors about bacteria but had not yet linked them to diseases.
Doctor Joseph Lister and nurse Florence Nightingale were linked to disease
Joseph Lister an English surgeon noticed that a lot of patients Who had survived difficult operation
later in hospital. Lister realised that germs cool also enter wounds and cause patients to die. Nobody
had make the connection before and hygiene standards in hospitals hadn't been good until Lister
made sure that doctors in his hospital had clean hands and instruments and and that they cleaned
patients wounds with chemicals. In this way Lister invented antiseptics.
Florence Nightingale was an English nurse In 1854 she want to work in military hospitals in Russia
during the Crimean war. Before nightingale hospitals had been dirty and chaotic, and nursing had
been an inferior job. She is now known as the founder of modern nursing. By the end of the 19th
century.
Germ theory had become accepted by the medical profession and the introduction of new medical
practices had saved thousands of patients lives
