9. QUALITY ISSUES
Ink Misting probably caused by aerosol accumulation on the printhead. Activating the pre-job maintenance, it is
performed a wiper procedure before printing begins. This will eliminate the printing contamination.
This can also happen in long runs. In these situations, we must activate the mid job maintenance.
That misting appears before the mid job service (MJS). Using the MJS the problem disappears.
The IQ problem caused by fibres. The root cause could be the wiper or paper fibres. Replace Web cleaner sheet or
wiper roller.
Some ink drops caused by fibres of wiper or other contamination. Solved using Light Clean.
10. TROUBLESHOOTING
Every time the printer has an error, a message will appear on the footer of the UI (User Interface). The errors are
visible in every page of the UI.
Take appropriate action as described in this chapter before taking the issue encountered as a failure.
If the failure persists and it’s not solved after troubleshooting, contact immediately your supplier.
