 Introduction

Event Management when compared with other traditional professions such as medicine,
law and accounting is relatively rapidly growing and represents hundreds of
professionals who are responsible for planning ,coordinating and evaluating wide range
of events.
In today’s day to day life there are events happening at very large scale .There are
several events which are being carried nowadays.
Events like Social events, corporate events and special events;
Events are way to celebrate the moment with family and relatives and meet people and
stay connected .This project serves this purpose .This project implements Online Event
Management

1.1 Existing System

 It is difficult to maintain data in the manual system.
 Pure Manual Work, no automation.
 Due to this system data becomes duplicated and sometimes important
information may lose because of misplaced files.
 There is lot of paper work to be done and therefore more time is consumed.
 There is no special security, therefore data is easily accessible to anyone.
 Voluntary person/individual has top visit Office.
 Customer cannot book event online.

Need of System
Preparing a system for an organisations to manage their events efficiently
and monitor the results produced as output.
 The proposed system suppresses all the above drawbacks of the existing manual
system.
 Maintaining huge files of important details is replaced by new technology
automated system.
 Keeping the entire event innovative and unique is very important.
 For maintaining all the important information on computer.
 It also gives customer information, staff details, and event details.
 Customer can book event online from new system.
 To manage and overcome any faults or anything missing in event as soon as
possible.
 All the above information we will get within seconds who leads the customer as
well as staff satisfied and happy.
 1.2 Scope of Work

The Project involves various events which include social events ,corporate events,
and special events .This all events include many events types as in wedding,
birthday parties ,anniversary ,ring ceremony ,cultural celebrations ,company
product launch ,dealer meet, conference ,meetings, parties, weekend bash and
many other events.

2.1 Proposed System

Proposed solution is a Web Based Online Event Management System. Following
are different features provided by the software:

 This system is providing the information about the events that are held around

 The information seeker gets proper help and idea from the uploaded event.

 Provides an efficient way of monitoring scheduled events.

 Provides an effective way of throwing events like various theme parties

 General user can view events that are already being conducted to check
performance of events carried.

 System generates alerts and signals about the new ideas about the event that are
being conducted in fashion.

 Complete report of the events is generated in the Report Generation Module.

 This system is having the provision to provide feedback by the general users
about the quality of services.

The user kept the following requirements:

 The system should provide the facility to add, and upload images of the
events.
 The system should provide the facility that user can change the uploaded
images and locations of events
 Conducted by them.
 The system should able to show the events that are being conducted by
them.
