Our students are our future.

By properly educating them on the performing arts and sports we

are not only creating a healthy mentality in our students but we are also inspiring them to pursue
diverse and well acclaimed jobs that will benefit the future generations. School has a huge impact on the
lives of our students so anything they retain here will subsequently affect their life and the life of those
around them.

The arts are as important as academics

and they should be treated with the same
level of importance. The arts are a form of
expression that transforms thoughts and
emotions into an unique way of
communication. By exposing our students to
art we are not only educating them on
cultural diversity but we also develop their
critical thinking. Studying art will

ly make a difference in the way students grasp complex concepts. If conversations revolving cultural
differences will be held, the students will develop their knowledge on the world around them.

Sports are a huge part of our life. Studies show how much exercise improves not only our
physical health but also our mental health. Individuals who lead an active lifestyle are more confident in
themselves therefore they obtain better results academically as well as in their personal life. When a
student participates in sports the skills they develop from the activity will then become essential life
skills.

In my opinion, I believe that young people benefit greatly from sports but studying arts is a
better alternative. Whilst sports can be exclusive, targeting an unique group of teenagers with athletic
characteristics, everyone can create or analyse a piece of art.

In conclusion, I believe that the youth should be given the opportunity to try one of the
activities so that only after experiencing both of them, they can choose which one they find more
entertaining.
