tioch. Antioch, Luke records for us, is the first place they called the followers of
Christ, Christians (which means little Christs). The Antioch church in Acts was a
lively international church that had many different ethnic groups which teamed
together to send out the church's first missionaries, Paul and Barnabas. The
church at Antioch became the key church that helped spread the good news of
Christ’s death and resurrection.
Trinity now will have a new partner in reaching people for the Kingdom of God.
As servants of God, we do have a responsibility to use our facilities wisely. We
have added these ministries because God has brought them to us. We have never
advertised that our property was for rent. God has given us these ministries so
that His Kingdom will be advanced on the Westside of Los Angeles. I continue to
see God’s hand at Trinity and I continue to thank Him for the open door He has
given us. All of this I find encouraging for our church and its future.
In Christ, Pastor Keith

SMALL GROUP CORNER
JEWS F R JESUS
The Story small groups would like to invite you and your friends to a
very special conversation.
On Saturday June 11, 2011 from 7pm‐9pm in Judson Hall it is our privi‐
lege to host
Tuvya Zaretsky from Jews for Jesus.
He will be talking to us about the relevance of the Old Testament in our
lives today, as well as answering some questions previously submitted
by the small groups.
He will be available afterwards for personal conversation.
Finger desserts are on us. We have both parking lots. Please don’t hesi‐
tate to invite your friends from church, neighbors, co‐workers etc. It’s a
special perspective and he’s a very sought after speaker/evangelist.
A FREE‐WILL OFFERING WILL BE TAKEN

The church at Sardis had no life signs at all. They had a little love,
but that ,also, was almost gone. Their light was almost out.
BIG 4TH OF JULY BASH
SUNDAY, JULY 3, 2011 ‐ 11:30 A.M.
Mark your calendars and plan to stay after church on Sunday, July 3,
for a delicious BBQ lunch, a silent auction (proceeds to benefit Trinity
Baptist Children’s Center) and lots of fellowship with all the congrega‐
tions that meet at Trinity. Please bring a salad or dessert to share.
THANKS TO EVERYONE for the prayers and good thoughts for Rhonda McAllister’s
son‐in‐law, David Acker, whose surgery for throat cancer was successful. He is re‐
cuperating at home with a good prognosis.
YOUTH FIRST YARD SALE UPDATE
Thank you to those of you who donated your "trash,” to those of you who sent en‐
couraging words and to those who came early to help set up... the yard sale was
amazing!!! Once again you helped us transform trash into treasure!
A couple of words from our volunteer leader Travis:
"from the fact that there were about 8 of our kids who came to help out (with one
of their dads even bringing us a jug of coffee!!!) to the community rallying around
this event and donating sooooo many clothes and other items ‐ it was surprisingly
seamless.... even considering we had to wake up before 6am on Saturday!
We raised $1001.11! Donated car loads of stuff (after the sale) to Goodwill and
were able to offer the 7 youth who showed up a $100 camp scholarship. The rest
of the money will be used as camp scholarships for those who couldn't make it.
Quick note‐‐‐ we had 58 youth show up on Tuesday night and the camp craze is
starting to spread...Thanks again for the part you played in making this event hap‐
pen and for bringing some hope to the lives of young people in Santa Monica.
Appreciatively, Ana G. Jara
"And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to
walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8
It would be wonderful if you could park along the back wall of the Rite Aid parking
lot on 14th St. each Sunday morning on an ongoing basis. It’s good exercise and
will help free some parking spaces. Thank you!
