Good evening, thank you for all the supervisor who have join this journal reading presentation.

Today I will present the journal reading with tittle “ effect of Sodium Bicatbonat… “

The method of this research is randomized controlled trial. Sample of the research were patient
with eGFR 21 +/- 5 ml/ min/1,73 m2 and plasma bicabonat level from 15 to 24 mmol/ L

The sample was 45 patient that divided in 3 group : first, group that receive Sodium bicarbonate
with dose 3x 1000 mg/ day. Second, the group that receive Natrium Chloride 2x 1000mg/ day
and the last goup is control. All of the group will perform urinary renin test and other RAS
parameter examination.

This research will compare the result of 3 groups examination.

The average age was 62 +/- 15 years, 78 % were males. The average e GFR was 21+/-15 and the
average plasma bicarbonate was 21,7 +/- 3,3

And the other laboratory values by group are nearly the same
