'
In starting my second quarter as Prytanis,I·have seen this
house grow and change in many positive scts. We are more
.. uY)jted, than ever, with the common aim of making our experience
"asttRELs tog.ether an enjoyable and fruitful one. Also we have
" 'set up a-series of positive goaTs in order. to achieve these aims.
Among these goals are the physical fmprovement of the ho_use,
such as the deck; the strengthening of the bond we all share;
(. and increased alumni participation and support. I believe these
goa 1 s wi 1 1 serve as a framework from which we can strive for an
even better future. However,we need your help.
A full (unde-rstanding of how to live together as a fraternity,
of how to make that fraternity the best place to live in Berkeley,
is ope wnich will only come to us ,once we can ,benefit from the
wisdom,experience,ana g"Uiaance 0 our au n;-;---r-he ChapLer; Boar d .
of Trustees has ,been doing an excellent job along these lines, but
.
we· need your support,too!
I realize that the things that went on here in the late 160ls
may have soured your opinion of your fraternity .. In reality,
things hav, changed dramatically since those days. Please join
us in our celebration of our Founders Day on March 8th,and see
for yourself. Until then,
YITB,

Atex. Zw--L6.6leJ1.

. ACTIVE-ALUMNI RELATIONS...a brief note...

It was ,good to see many new faces at the Cal-USC football game 1 ast fall.
The newly formed Alumni Committee of Nu Chapter has begun to plan and organize
future functions which will serve as the means for alums who have not had the
opportunity to see old friends from past school years.

house would be' - happy to open its doors for any alumni function, and could offer
some assistance in the planning and organizing of the function. I hope to see
many of yo at the Founders Day Banquet on March 8th.
