CODICIL TO WILL
OF
THAKUR RAICHAND

I, Thakur Raichand, aged 65 years, S/O Shyamal Das Raichand, Indian Inhabitant, residing
at Raichand Haveli, Bhagwant Das Nagar, Jodhpur, on 15th September 2021, being of sound
physical and mental health, in my own free will, without any compulsion or pressure from
any person(s) whatsoever, device this Codicil to my Last Will dated the 12 th day of
September 2021 (“Last Will”). I hereby republish and declare said Last Will as amended by
this Codicil to be my Last Will.
I. Declaration.
I hereby declare the following amendments in this Codicil:
A) With respect to Clause 3 of the Last Will that states the following-
3. “I hereby give Devise and Bequeath the ancestral estate mentioned in aforesaid
Clauses 2(h), and 2(i) equally to-
3.1 Kartik Raichand, aged 25 years, unmarried, residing at Raichand Haveli, Bhagwant
Das Nagar, Jodhpur, Head of Finance at Raichand Group of Hotels. After his death, his
share would remain with his future generation.
3.2 Sonia Bajaj, aged 31 years, married to Shri Dev Bajaj, residing at Dev Raj Mansion,
Udaipur, mother of Revant Bajaj, aged 5 years and Kirti Bajaj, aged 3 years. After her
death, her share would remain with her future generations. However, her husband or any
of her in-laws cannot contest any share in this estate.
3.3 Ronit Raichand, aged 23 years, unmarried, residing at Raichand Haveli, Bhagwant
Das Nagar, Jodhpur, COO of Raichand Group of Hotels. After his death, his share would
remain with his future generations.”
I, being of sound physical and mental health, in my own free will, without any
compulsion or pressure from any person(s) whatsoever, want to amend the above-
mentioned Clause 3 of the Last Will to the following-
3. “I hereby give Devise and Bequeath the ancestral estate mentioned in aforesaid
Clauses 2(h), and 2(i) equally to-
3.1 Kartik Raichand, aged 25 years, unmarried, residing at Raichand Haveli, Bhagwant
Das Nagar, Jodhpur, Head of Finance at Raichand Group of Hotels. After his death, his
share would remain with his future generation.
3.2 Sonia Bajaj aged 31 years, married to Shri Dev Bajaj, residing at Dev Raj Mansion,
Udaipur, mother of Revant Bajaj, aged 5 years and Kirti Bajaj, aged 3 years. After her
death, her share would remain with her future generations. However, her husband or any
of her in-laws cannot contest any share in this estate.
3.3 Ronit Raichand, aged 23 years, unmarried, residing at Raichand Haveli, Bhagwant
Das Nagar, Jodhpur, COO of Raichand Group of Hotels. After his death, his share would
remain with his future generations.”
3.4 Abhay Kapoor, aged 27 years, S/O Late Naintara Kapoor and Shri Thakur

Raichand, residing at East Wing, Krishna Haveli, Ram Das Nagar, Jodhpur, Founder of
Naintara: NGO for Cancer Awareness. After his death, his share would remain with his
future generation.”

B) With respect to Clause 4 of the Last Will that state the following-
“I hereby give Devise and Bequeath the estate mentioned in aforesaid Clause 2(a) in a
30%-70% shared manner to Ronit Raichand, aged 23 years, unmarried, residing at
Raichand Haveli, Bhagwant Das Nagar, Jodhpur, COO of Raichand Group of Hotels and
Kartik Raichand, aged 25 years, unmarried, residing at Raichand Haveli, Bhagwant
Das Nagar, Jodhpur, Head of Finance at Raichand Group of Hotels. However, this 30%
share to Ronit Raichand will be so given upon his marriage to a suitable Brahmin bride
and procreation of two biological children from the aforementioned marriage.”
I, being of sound physical and mental health, in my own free will, without any
compulsion or pressure from any person(s) whatsoever, want to amend the above-
mentioned Clause 4 of the Last Will to the following-
“I hereby give Devise and Bequeath the estate mentioned in aforesaid Clause 2(a) in
a 50%-50% shared manner to Abhay Kapoor, aged 27 years, S/O Late Naintara
Kapoor and Shri Thakur Raichand, residing at East Wing, Krishna Haveli, Ram Das
Nagar, Jodhpur, Founder of Naintara: NGO for Cancer Awareness and Kartik
Raichand, aged 25 years, unmarried, residing at Raichand Haveli, Bhagwant Das Nagar,
Jodhpur, Head of Finance at Raichand Group of Hotels.”

II. Terms.
All other terms, conditions, statements, and request of the Last Will shall remain in effect. In
every respect, I hereby ratify, reaffirm, and republish my Last Will dated the 12th day of
September 2021.

III. I have made this Codicil in sound health and mind and with full understanding and
my no other heirs will be entitled to object to the same.

IN WITNESS whereof, I, the Testator, have authorized this Codicil on the undersigned date
and in the presence of Two (2) Witnesses.
