1. What approach you would recommend, Agile or waterfall and why?

Ans: I would prefer the Hybrid methodology. I would like to emphasis that the approach I would follow
will have following characteristics:
 Accountability
 Predictable and risk mitigating delivery : Adopting a strategic project management
capability provides transparency.
 Trusted delivery: By Leveraging the experienced and trained people, methods, tools for
the delivery of the solution to ABC Power.

Traditional waterfall model often leads to inflated milestones due to several build and test cycles and,
they carry a high risk of gaps between the changes to the client requirements and project delivery. On
the other hand, agile methodology seems to have had less favorable results. This is due to the difficulty
in delivering the business value early when implementing an integrated end to end solution than
increased enhancements.

By adopting to the Hybrid methodology, the above said challenge can be overcome by blending agile
development methods for frequent validation and business touchpoints while maintaining constant
healthy pressure on the team, with a more traditional design and product acceptance approach.

The other approaches that can be co-adopted are Test driven development and Integrated business
change.
