To Whom It May Concern;

My name is Dorian Meyette and I work at Harvard University as an Accessibility Consultant. In

addition, I am a faculty member at Carolina University where I teach content within the Deaf
Studies program. I have had the distinct pleasure of having Ms. Emma Hair as a student in my
Deaf Capstone class this semester. The Deaf Capstone class is a synthesis of the information,
material, theories, and methodologies provided in the Deaf Studies program and results in
students’ completion of an APA-style academic research paper along with a presentation of
their findings in American Sign Language.

Emma is an extraordinary student with methodical attention to detail who possesses a great
drive to succeed. Her writing is articulate and demonstrates advanced critical thinking skills. She
is able to extrapolate and synthesize data into clear and concise results and was able to
communicate her findings well.

Her signing is competent and clear, and she has demonstrated the ability to understand the
scope of her role as an interpreter as well as the ability to use language effectively to provide
effective communication to a consumer. I feel that clients would be pleased to work with Emma
and that she would be an asset to your organization. If you have any further questions, please
do not hesitate to contact me at dorian_meyette@harvard.edu.

Kindest regards;

Dorian M. Meyette
