SOLUTIONS OF VIETJET:

- Vietjet has explained to the authority that it has faced challenges in its
transition to a new scheduling and data tracking software, resulting in poor
management of pilots’ flight times
- Later complied with the CAAV’s regulations and withdrew pilots from further
flights if they met or exceeded the CAAV’s flight time threshold.
- Has rented airplanes and crew to cover for the delayed flights.
- Pilot training and order more aircrafts

STRENGTH:
 Opt for aircraft wet lease to cover for the delayed flights.
Imagine that you are leasing a car. For your money you get a
vehicle with four wheels and a steering wheel. A wet-lease
however, is more akin to a taxi. Your car comes with a driver, fuel
and the registration to operate on the roads.
Not just aircrafts, a wet-lease airline provides all the required
assets to fly the aircrafts. This includes a complete crew,
maintenance, airline certificates and, importantly, third party
liability insurance. All direct operating costs such as fuel, catering,
airport fees, handling and navigation fees are paid for directly by
the client to the service providers
Generally, the aircraft can be deployed at very short notice,
sometimes as little as three hours, to cover short or medium term
transportation needs.
 In long term, VietJet signed an accord for two additional A320-family
simulators for pilot and technician training and already has 120 Airbus
A321neos on order. Consequently, Vietjet will have enough airplanes and
well- qualified pilots for opreation, hence significantly reducing the rate
of delayed flights.
