CA updates!

On August 29th at 5:00pm PT/8:00 PM ET, Generation Ratify will be hosting a And She
Could Be Next Live-Stream and Discussion event focusing on voter suppression and its
relation to the ERA! The event will live-stream Part Two which focuses on Voter
Suppression and will include an interactive discussion and Q&A panel with producer
Jyoti Work and Becca Reuble and Ani Mercedes of The League! We will also lead
participants in a Twitter storm advocating for voting rights for the formerly

In California, we are hosting a Suffragette Watch Party to celebrate the 19th

amendment! On August 26, 1920, white women were given the right to vote, and this
year we are celebrating 100 years of women’s suffrage. Suffragette is a historical film
that chronicles the fight of suffragette’s for the right to vote. RSVP here to join us on
Friday, August 28!
