British pound from 1973 to 1988 with units are measured in USD for each one pound.

In general, the rate of exchange US dollar versus British pound witnessed a fluctuant
trend and the exchange rate reached its peak of about 2.4 in 1975 and hit its low of about
1.25 in mid-1985.

experienced a significant increase by 0.7, while the exchange rate accounted for 2.3 and
remained stable between 1980 and 1981.

Essay 2: The line graph below shows changes in the amount and type of fast food
consumed by Australian teenagers from 1975 to 2000.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make
comparisions where relevant.

The graph compares the consumption of fast food by Australian teenagers over a 25 year
period, between 1975 and 2000. Overall, the consumption of hamburgers and pizza
increased rapidly, while there was a significant decrease in the figure for fish and chips.

In 1975, the most popular fast food with Australian teenagers was fish and chips, being
eaten 100 times a year. This was far higher than Pizza and hamburgers, which were
consumed approximately 5 times a year. However, apart from a brief rise again from
1980 to 1985, the consumption of fish and chips gradually declined over the 25 year
timescale to finish at just under 40 times per year.

In sharp contrast to this, it appears from the graph that the popularity of pizzas and
hamburgers rose substantially. Nevertheless, the demand for pizza was constant over a
period of 1995 to 2000 and it was nearly eaten 85 times in a year. On the other side, the
consumption rate of hamburgers exponentially increased from 1985 to 2000 and the
number of eaten times per year was just above 100 times.

All the evidence support that Australian youths ate less fish and chips and more pizzas
and burgers throughout the period 1975 to 2000.
