Topic: Human Characteristics: Humility and Arrogance

Appropriate and inappropriate mans' characteristics are a personal choice and a

right. The various types of characters, precisely humility and arrogance, we observe
people nowadays can be understood due to human diversity. Furthermore, man's
characteristics can be categorized into three groups: a man's manner of thinking,
speaking, and acting. These characteristics can be a tool to achieve personal success or
can be a tool for personal destruction.

First, a humble man's thoughts are purely for the welfare of the people he loves,
but the views of an arrogant man tend to be selfish and entitled since he might think that
he is better than anyone else. Second, a humble man never announces how humble he
is but instead lets his words be the evidence. On the other hand, an arrogant man always
brags their might and declares that he is always right and envious whenever a man is
eloquently superior to him. Lastly, a humble man does not wait for praises but works
diligently according to the common good; however, the arrogant man seeks to honor,
pride, and glory attached to his name and will work hard to attain what he wants to be
famous all the time.

Indeed, man's characteristics are enough determining factors to predict future

success and failure. The man of character does the right thing even if no one else does,
not because they think it will change the world but because they refuse to be changed by
the world. In addition, knowledge makes people humble; arrogance makes people
ignorant as Einstein states that the only thing more dangerous than ignorance is
arrogance.
