ABSTRACT

Every student has to wait for long hours to accomplish their

transactions in the cashier’s window. University of Antique-College of
Computer Studies students face this problem all the time. By solving this
kind of issue, it will eventually prevent the crowds of the students and speed
up the time for the transaction. Improving productivity and operational
efficiencies. Moreover, it minimizes prolonged customer waiting and reduces
students’ frustrations. The main objective of Development of Microcontroller
- based Queuing Management System with SMS notification for College of
Computer Studies is to achieve a better quality of services for the students.
Development of Microcontroller - based Queuing Management System with
SMS notification for College of Computer Studies will issue a queue paper
ticket to each person in queue. An SMS notification will be sent to the
customer 10 turns before his queue. Eliminating the need to stand in the
line while waiting patiently. There were a couple of questions and
agreements conducted to students to find out the satisfaction, the Queuing
Management System can help to provide the comfort and fairness to the
students and customers while they are waiting for their turn.
