Google and example of a sales letter. Then briefly discuss the function of each
paragraph under the body of the sales letter. You post your answer here.
Headline: Here the writer wants to grab the reader’s attention toward the main
purpose of the letter. It is important to grab the reader’s attention from the start by
writing an attention-grabbing headline. Before people look at your ad or website, they
are probably thinking about something in particular. They’re looking for information on
a specific topic because they have a problem they need to solve. The headline presents
the service or product being offered.
Introduction: It is the introductory paragraph. Introduction in the sales letter provides
the details of the product or the service. It also provides the reader with the address
and other related information.
Body: Here the writer builds his credibility. The writers provide with the product, its
difference from other similar products, a list of satisfied customers, terms of contract.
In the first paragraph, you should discuss the problem and how your product or idea
will be its solution. You'll want to make a case for why your product is needed and
explain why it's better than the current solutions. It's best to avoid overly technical or
controversial information here.
Call to Action: In this section, the writer asks for the reader’s response and can
express the gratitude. It also includes various details like warranty, discount.
