2 HOST: For today’s lesson, let us be inspired children to give our all, with

3 determination and passion, to continue learning and striving for our

4 dreams, no matter how big or small it may be despite our new

5 normal situation. Just always remember, Mother Theresa once said,

6 “We cannot all do great things. But we can do small things with great

7 love.” Let us take hand in hand, one step at a time, experiencing new
8 things that will truly mold you into a better person with a heart. So
9
do not be afraid to fail and try again and again. Because, we teachers,
10
are always here for you to guide, support and love you as our own.

RADIO HOST: Alright! This time, please get your module, papers or

notebook and pen for our discussion about identifying and determining the

meaning of common homographs in a sentence.

13 BIZ: MSC UP AND UNDER

14 RADIO HOST: But, before proceeding to our new lesson, let us have a quick

15 recap of our previous discussion. Can you still remember our last topic in

16 English? Yes, it was all about Cause and Effect Relationship. A cause and

17 effect relationship describes the reason and result of events. The cause is

18 the reason why something happens, and the effect is the result. For

19 example, The lights went out due to an electrical fault. …………..Due to an

20 electrical fault is the cause and the lights went out is the effect….. Another

21 sentence, Sara felt sick so she went to the clinic. Can you determine the

cause-and-effect children? ………Very good, Sara felt sick is the cause and so
3

22 she went to the clinic is the effect. Good job kids. You are ready for our next

23 topic.

2 RADIO HOST: Now, let us welcome your Radio Teacher today, no other

the same pronunciation. And do the highlighted pair of words in each
