RULES FOR ASSIGNMENT ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS THRU DRAWING BY LOTS 1. All ALC recognized LECCOM are included in the drawing by lots. 2. Assignments to be drawn by lots are those of Lectors and Commentator. 3. All LECCOM must be informed of the place, date and time of the drawing by lots. 4. Drawing by lots must be done in the presence of all LECCOM, preferably during official meeting. 5. Only present LECCOM drawn by lots will be validly assigned. 6. However, LECCOM with valid texted reason for not attending during the time of drawing by lots will be validly assigned. 7. Texted reason must be officially declared before drawing by lots begin. 8. Those who will be absent must comply with #10 and #11 below. 9. Depending on the agreement of all LECCOM, a LECCOM can have a multiple or limited assignment when drawing by lots is done. 10.Those who do not wish to be or cannot be included in the drawing by lots in ALL SPECIFIED DATES AND PLACES must state their intention and reason. 11. Those who cannot serve on any of the dates specified must state their intention and reason before the drawing by lots begin. 12. Those who cannot serve at any of the dates specified, e.g. Church, Kambal na Krus Chapel, Pook Barangay, or the like, must state their intention and reason before the drawing by lots begin. 13.Results of lots drawn once done are final and binding. 14.For some unforeseen reason, in good faith, any LECCOM validly assigned thru drawing by lots cannot perform his or her responsibility, he or she can relinquish his or her duty to whomever he or she wishes with the condition that he or she informs the proper authorized persons in charge of assignment. 15.If #14 fails, the LECCOM concerned must inform LECCOM Officer on Schedule or Assignments because it is duty and task of LECCOM Officers to give the vacant assignment to whoever is available and willing. 16.In reference to #6, it is not any more acceptable if done three successive times. The third time is more than enough reason forforfeiture whatever the reason may be. This is eliminating abuse of excuse-privilege being given.
