General Rules:
1. Team Eligibility- Members of the Team must be Law Students (BA.LLB and BBA.LLB)
of Delhi Metropolitan Education, Noida from 1st Year only.
2. Team Composition- Team of 2 students needs to have at least 2 speakers. Team of 3
students needs to have at least 2 speakers and 1 Researcher.
3. Registration: All the Teams are required to Register Via the link given below before 1st
February 2022, Tuesday (5:00 PM)

NOTE: This competition is voluntary but once you register, you must appear for the
competition otherwise it may lead to blacklisting of your team by the Moot Court Society.
4. Team Codes: The Team Codes will be allotted by the Moot Court Society.
5. Dress Code: Court Formals (Black Blazer and White Top-wear) mandatory during the
competition.
Written Submission Guidelines
4. Share screen of Written Submissions (Memorial) at the day of the Competition before the
Judges.
7. Formatting of Text
- Alignment: Justified Alignment for the Body
- Line Spacing: 1.5 Inches
- Font: Times New Roman 12 for Body and 14 for Headings
- Citation: Times New Roman 10

8. Format of Competition
- The Oral Competition will be spanned 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) starting
from 5th February 2022 to 6th February 2022.
- Researcher’s Test will be Conducted on 5th February 2022 (Saturday) 2:00pm
onwards via G-Meet for 30 Mins (30 MCQ Questions).
- Rounds will be conducted in the following manner:
- 5th February 2022 - Preliminary Rounds (3:00-5:00 PM).
- You will be given a time slot and Virtual Court Room Link over WhatsApp.
You have to join as per your designated time.
- 6th February 2022- Final Rounds (Top 4 from Preliminary Rounds will be
selected) (12:00-1:00PM).
9. Time for Oral Rounds
- 15 Mins per team will be granted to Argue.
NOTE: Both the Speakers shall allocate the time between themselves within
these 15 mins as per their own understanding. (For eg: Speaker 1 = 7 Mins,
Speaker 2 = 8 Mins).
The Moot Court Society holds the right to introduce any amendments in the rules and the
decision of the Faculty Convener shall stand Final.
