Mock Interview Reflection

Directions: Review the Mock Interview Critique Form completed by your teacher. Use the results to reflect on your experience by answering the questions below.

1. What steps did you take to prepare for the mock interview? I took caution with my answers ensuring they were simplified while explaining them well in

a calm manner.

2. How did you feel while you were being interviewed?

I felt a little anxious and excited at the same time.

3. Reflect on your actual responses. Did you feel your responses were adequate or could you have done better? Explain. There are always things that can

be done better. I felt as if I could've been more descriptive.

4. What questions do you feel you answered well? Explain.

I felt as though I answered my strengths and weaknesses well. I was able to elaborate more about what I am good at and turn my weaknesses into a positive.

5. What questions do you feel you could have answered better? How would you have answered them differently? I could have answered working under

pressure better. I could have included more detail.

6. What areas did your teacher mark as strengths? She said I answered most of the questions good. She also liked that I asked additional questions.

7. What areas did your teacher mark as needing improvement? In what ways do you plan to improve your performance in these areas? Using filler words

such as “like” and “as” was something my teacher marked as what I needed to work on. I will work on this by practicing what I want to say more and slowing down

when I am speaking.
