Geotechnical Engineer/Geologist

Golder has a new open position for a Geotechnical Engineer, to conduct fieldwork within Indonesia projects. You will be working on a
variety of civil and mining infrastructure projects in Indonesia and other regions. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and strong
attention to detail.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supervise geotechnical drilling and field tests,
• Manage sample selection and delivery for laboratory testing,
• Provide quality control/inspection for earthwork and perform relevant field tests,
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly field reports,
• Interact with the Contractor and Client regarding daily work, schedule, testing, inspection and engineering works.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
• Degree in Civil or Geological engineering.
• Have understanding about geotechnical drilling and testing and construction supervision.
• Organize, lead and conduct field data gathering.
• Able to work independently on site with project manager direction (on job training provided)
• Good English communication skills
• Able to operate computer (MS Word, ME Excel and email).
• Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to Health and Safety.
