in your Mercedes Benz, we made this simple chart for you
where you can learn how to identify original Mercedes radio
system that was installed in your car
from the factory.

How do i know which radio is my Mercedes Benz?

Easy way to find out what type of Comand System - radio
head unit is equipped with your Mercedes Benz is by looking
at the radio buttons. See description below.

NTG4.0 COMAND
NTG4.0 Comand radio is installed in Mercedes Benz C-class till
2009 and in GLK till 2012. It has round buttons on both sides of
the radio. Warning! None of our product can work with this
radio.

 NTG4.5 COMAND / AUDIO20
NTG4.5 Comand or Audio20 radio is installed pretty much in all
Mercedes Benz models from 2009-2015. It has oval shape
buttons on both sides of the radio and chrome edging on central
back/forward button.

NTG5.0 / NTG5.1 COMAND

NTG5.0 or NTG5.1 Comand radio is installed on Mercedes
Benz models from 2015+. It has flat buttons and chrome underline
dividers between side buttons. Chrome edging is only on center
"ON" knob and chrome edging is absent on back/forward
buttons.

NTG5.0 / NTG5.1 COMAND

Also, NTG5.1 Comand radio is installed on Mercedes Benz C-
class (W205) and GLC models from 2015+ with a new
dashboard, just like it's shown on the picture. The radio is installed
and hidden under the wooden trim panel with climate control and
air vents.

NTG5.5 / NTG6.0 COMAND

NTG5.5/6.0 Comand radio is installed on a new models 2018-

2019 A-Class, C-class, E-Class, S-Class and comes with a large
10.25'' or 12.3'' screen.
